CC LA MARINA WILL OPEN ITS DOORS ON JUNE 1ST

On Monday the 1st June, La Marina Shopping Centre and Retail Park in the heart of Finestrat will reopen its doors fully following almost three months closed, except for essential stores. The Centre and Retail Park, which benefits from over 100 stores, restaurants and leisure facilities, has been following the Government’s guidelines following the COVID-19 pandemic and now following health and safety requirements, is delighted to be putting new structures in place to welcome the local community once again.

La Marina Shopping Centre and Retail Park are also incredibly proudly awarded a “COVID-19 Safe Certificate: following their initiatives to protect everybody within the Centre. This certificate is the first to be assigned to a Spanish Shopping Centre, and we hope that La Marina will now be used as a benchmark for cleanliness, hygiene and safety.

Throughout May, La Marina team members have been busy at work ensuring that the Centre and Retail Park adhere to the Government’s guidelines and, put in additional measures to protect their team members, retailers and of course, visitors at all times. 

On the 26th May, a new suite of social distancing posters, floor vinyl graphics and banners were installed across the centre, advising and reminding all visitors and workers to retain a minimum of 2-metre distance at all times. These are accompanied by additional cleaning measures including the installation of hand sanitizer stations, extra hand soap in the toilets and a full deep clean of the centre.

Although the Government has declared Monday 1st of June as a full reopening date, La Marina Shopping Centre and Retail Park would like to advise visitors that some retailers may experience restrictions and therefore the Centre and Retail Park will be providing daily updates to opening times and restrictions via their social media channels. In addition to the new safety measures found at the centre, La Marina Shopping Centre and Retail Park are also undergoing a full rebrand with many of the new signs boasting the new identity and creative style.
