The dog rehoming organisation La Cruz will be present at the CC La Marina on the 15th and 16th of April with a stand on the first floor to create awareness and promote the responsible adoption of dogs and cats.

La Cruz is a non-profit organisation founded in 2004 by Rich and Sam Mayfield. A year after, they started "The Orange House", an adventure centre and hostel for climbers located in Finestrat.

In 2021, they had rescued and found new homes for 54 dogs that have been taken to their new owners in Spain, Netherlands, Germany and France.

The long term plan for La Cruz is to become the official protector of the region, working together with the association "Gatos Finestrat".

In this way, La Marina continues with the collaboration that began last year after being the sponsor of the organisation in the Benidorm Half Marathon, where the runners wore T-shirts with the logos of La Cruz.

La Marina is the main shopping and leisure complex in the Marina Baixa region. Located in the thriving town of Finestrat, La Marina is frequently visited by both local residents of Finestrat, Benidorm and the surrounding area, but also remains popular with tourists from Spain, England, Germany, Russia and France. The Centre has more than a hundred shops. These include top brands such as Zara, C&A, Benetton and Ikea. In addition to shopping, La Marina also has a wide range of dining and leisure facilities, many of which are located on its terrace, which offers outdoor seating, children's activities and magnificent views of the city.
