Global warming, the energy crisis in Spain and the excessive rise in the price of electricity have led to a new strategy in line with the principles of sustainability, solidarity, and proximity of the shopping centre.
For this reason, the CC La Marina has decided not to place the Christmas lights decoration, as in previous years; a symbol of large shopping malls. Instead, they consider that the circumstances force them to be responsible in all senses.
Thus, they have opted for a different decoration, without lights or large displays, but closer to what families place in their homes: Christmas trees.
Up to 13 trees throughout the Shopping Centre, including the collaboration of various operators such as A Flor de, Casa and Pepco, decorating them with their products.
Kids can bring their letters to Father Christmas and the Three Wise Men and deposit them in our mailbox on the ground floor, next to the M.

Closer to the community
They have also increased the number of activities, with three significant initiatives being launched for the first time, such as the first edition of the La Marina Christmas Market, the 1st Christmas card competition for children and an exhibition of nativity scenes by various local associations.
In addition, for the first time, there will also be a mega raffle with more than 30 winners and different amounts that will surely be of significant help at this time of the year.
