CC LA MARINA INCREASES FOOTFALL BY MORE THAN 16% IN 2021 COMPARED TO 2019

La Marina Shopping Centre is able to report that visitors are coming to the Shopping Centre in higher numbers than pre-Covid 19.

The management team at La Marina which is made up of Resolute Asset Management, BNP Paribas and Why Media have taken every step to ensure safety is the number one priority and in no small way, a clean and COVID certificated La Marina has resulted in the Shopping Centre increasing its footfall on 2019 by a sizable amount.

Visitors have been encouraged to visit based on the cleaning and safety put in place at La Marina Shopping Centre

La Marina has benefited from a number of new retail and food and beverage operators taking space at Costa Blanca’s favourite Shopping Centre. It has been well documented that the Shopping Centre is moving ever closer to 100% occupancy and has seen a number of investments made over the last 18 months. This is helping to reinvigorate the Shopping Centre.

Gerry Martin from Resolute Asset Management went on to say: “This is an incredible result and will help ensure that operators trade and create more jobs and opportunities in the Finestrat and Benidorm areas. I am pleased that the work carried out is delivering such tangible results and we will stop at nothing and work day and night to ensure La Marina continues with its current trajectory of success and growth”.

Chapman Taylor Architects have been responsible for delivering structural change and Why Media has consistently delivered a full marketing strategy including signage and communication to help deliver on the Shopping Centres enhancement strategy.

Rowen Squibb from Why Media explains: “The change we have seen over the last 18 months is astronomical and these footfall numbers help us identify a fully occupied and well marketed La Marina that embraces communication methods both online and offline will deliver results no matter the circumstances '’.

La Marina will announce a number of great new retailers and food and beverage operators over the coming months. We hope that the popularity of the Centre will play a role in the community that we are so proud of.

La Marina is the leading shopping and leisure complex in the region of Marina Baixa. Located in the affluent town of Finestrat, La Marina is frequently visited by both local residents of Finestrat, Benidorm and surrounding towns, but also remains popular with tourists from Spain, England, France, Russia and Germany.
