THEY WILL BE EGALITARIAN TOYS TO REINFORCE THE CAMPAIGN "PLAYING FREE, GROWING EQUAL".
As every year, the Social Services and Equality Departments are once again launching a campaign to distribute toys to the most vulnerable families. This campaign also has an egalitarian component with the aim of giving non-sexist toys, avoiding gender stereotypes and prejudices through play. "In this way, we also reinforce the message "Playing free, growing equal" promoted by the Regional Council for Equality of which Finestrat is a member". The presentation was attended by the Councillor for Social Welfare, Mª Teresa Pérez, the Social Services Technician, Ángela Sánchez and the Equality Technician, Myriam Lloret.
In turn, the Centro Comercial La Marina also joins this campaign by donating stuffed animals donated by customers over the last few weeks. "We would like to thank the collaboration of the Centro Comercial La Marina and the generosity of its visitors in donating these cuddly toys which, with great enthusiasm, we will send to the children of these families, both from the municipal Social Services and also from Cáritas Parroquial", said the councillor for Social Welfare, Mª Teresa Pérez Pérez.
