The latest store opening of 'Action' brings Dutch Flair and Sustainable Shopping to La Marina.
Finestrat February 2024 – ‘Action’ a rapidly expanding non-food discounter hailing from Holland, is opening its newest store in La Marina. With a strong commitment to sustainability and a reputation for offering quality products at unbeatable prices, Action is set to revolutionise the shopping experience in the Finestrat area.
This exciting addition to La Marina Retail Park marks ‘Action’s continued expansion into Spain and showcases the brand’s dedication to providing eco-friendly and affordable choices for consumers. Shoppers can expect a wide range of products, from household essentials to toys, handicrafts, gardening and DIY items, all curated with an emphasis on sustainability and ethical sourcing. Action offers a surprising assortment with 150 new products on the shelves every week. More than 1,500 products are priced at less than 1 euro. The average price of all products is less than 2 euros.
Action takes pride in its environmentally conscious practices, incorporating eco-friendly packaging, energy-efficient operations, and a carefully selected product range that aligns with the principles of reducing environmental impact. The store’s commitment to sustainability goes beyond just products; it’s a way of doing business.
Action has achieved a milestone by only using responsibly sourced cotton. This reflects their commitment to environmentally responsible and socially conscious practices. 99% of their cotton is sourced as Better Cotton, and 1% is sourced as organic cotton. Since November 2018, Action is a partner of the Better Cotton Initiative, utilising their traceability solution for transparency and supporting farmers. They believe that good products, low prices, and sustainability can go together. When customers choose products with the Better Cotton logo, they support farmers trained in sustainable farming methods, contributing to reduced pesticide and water use, while promoting fair income.
